A pivot bushing for insulating a pivot shaft and component pivotally mounted to a seat assembly of an automotive vehicle. The pivot bushing comprises a circumferential planar rim having an inner surface defining a bushing aperture and an outer surface defining a bearing surface. The inner and outer surfaces extend between an upper edge and a lower end. An upper flange projects outwardly from the upper edge of the rim and about the perimeter of the outer surface and a lower flange projects outwardly from the lower edge of the rim and about the perimeter of the outer surface defining a channel formed between the outer surface, upper flange and lower flange for receiving and insulating the component from the pivot shaft.
L'invention concerne un coussinet de pivotement pour isoler un axe et un composant de pivotement montés de façon à pouvoir pivoter sur un ensemble de siège d'un véhicule automobile. Le coussinet de pivotement comprend une jante plane périphérique ayant une surface intérieure qui définit une ouverture du coussinet et une surface extérieure qui définit une surface de portée. Les surfaces intérieure et extérieure s'étendent entre un bord supérieur et une extrémité inférieure. Un rebord supérieur fait saillie vers l'extérieur à partir du bord supérieur de la jante et autour du périmètre de la surface extérieure et un rebord inférieur fait saillie vers l'extérieur à partir du bord inférieur de la jante et autour du périmètre de la surface extérieure : ils délimitent une enceinte, formée entre la surface extérieure, le rebord supérieur et le rebord inférieur, qui reçoit le composant et l'isole de l'axe de pivotement.
