The invention relates to a process for preparing organic pigment granules with a particle size from 0.5 to 4 mm, comprising a mixture of at least one organic pigment, a binder having a neutral emulsifier which does not form ions and which dissolves to give a clear solution in water or a C1-C4 alcohol. The mixture is pressed in a continuously operating apparatus consisting of at least one conveying device and a shaping section, and being constructed and operated with a throughput, such that the pressure in its shaping section does not exceed 10 bar. If desired, the cylindrical granules emerging from the dies are converted on a rotating device into ovoid or spherical granules, and the granulated product is dried at a temperature of -50 to 200 ~C at atmospheric pressure or under reduced pressure.
Procédé de préparation de granules de pigment organique d'une grosseur particulaire comprise entre 0,5 et 4 mm comprenant un mélange d'au moins un pigment organique, un liant, ayant un émulsifiant neutre qui ne forme pas d'ions et se dissout pour produire une solution transparente dans de l'eau ou un alcool C¿1?-C¿4?. Le mélange est comprimé dans un appareil fonctionnant en continu constitué d'au moins un dispositif d'acheminement et d'une partie de mise en forme, qui est lui-même construit et mis en oeuvre avec un débit tel que la pression dans la partie de mise en forme ne dépasse pas 10 bars. Si cela s'avère nécessaire les granules cylindriques qui sortent des matrices sont transformés en granules ovoïdes ou sphériques sur un dispositif en rotation et le produit granulé est séché à une température comprise entre -50 et 200 ·C dans des conditions de pression atmosphérique ou de pression réduite.
