CA 2291284

A carbosiloxane dendrimer has (i) a highly branched structure in which the siloxane bond and silalkylene bond alternate, (ii) a narrow molecular weight distribution, and (iii) 1 non-radically-polymerizable substituted hydrocarbon group in the molecule. When the carbosiloxane dendrimer contains a condensation-reactive group as the non-radically-polymerizable group, the carbosiloxane dendrimer is useful as a modifier for organic resins and paints.
