This Harness is fully adjustable & comes in various sizes thickness & styles to accommodate animals traveling in automobiles. The material used to manufacture this device is canvas strapping & thick gauge threads. Adjustable buckles are used to adjust the device in order to fit the animal properly. Slide in buckle type fasteners are used for securing the harness on to the animal. Attached to the back of the harness is a strap which passes threw the seat belt in a vehicle & fastens on to the harness with a steel or plastic slip in order to restrain the animal in case of short stopping or accident. The Safety Strap is what differentiates this harness from others as well as the design of the harness itself. This device will protect the animal & the occupants in the vehicle in case of emergency stopping or accident by holding the animal securely to the seat belt, thus keeping the animal from becoming a projectile in the vehicle. A prototype of this device has been in use for 10 months on a 50 LB. Chow Chow & has proven to be successful. The harness is also used for walking your pet. This is a safe & inexpensive way to insure the safety of all occupants in any vehicle transporting animals.
