This invention relates to a multi-application processing process for a locatable active terminal (11), in which at least one link (A) is established with an identifiable program (10) dedicated to the execution of an application, said program imposing its operation conditions so that functions are made available. If necessary, the terminal has a punctual dialogue, via a (B) link, with the management center (12) for the implementation of capacity inputs and outputs of this latter, the management center then becoming slaved or not at the application level vis a vis the incoming program. L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement multi-applicatif d'un terminal actif localisable (11) dans lequel on réalise au moins une liaison (A) avec un programme identifiable (10) dédié à l'exécution d'une application, ledit programme dictant ses conditions d'exploitation au terminal pour la mise à disposition des fonctions. Le terminal dialogue ponctuellement, par l'emploi d'une liaison (B), avec le centre de gestion (12) pour la réalisation, si nécessaire, des entrées et sorties des capacités de ce dernier, le centre de gestion devenant esclave ou non du terminal au niveau de l'applicatif vis-à-vis du programme entrant. L'invention concerne également le procédé d'identification du programme et du terminal en exploitation.
