It has been discovered that charged resins impart qualities to a granulation which facilitate the preparation of spherical multiparticulates by the spheronization process. When charged resins are utilized, microcrystalline cellulose and other materials which have been used in the past to impart plasticity to the granulation may be avoided. The charged resin may have the added benefit of acting to modulate medicament release from resin modulated delivery systems.
