A method of drilling and cleaning a wellbore whilst rotating the drill string after full drilling depth is reached without running the drill string out the bore to install a clean up work string is disclosed wherein a drill string having a drill bit at one end includes at least one near bit selectively activatable cleaning tool (10, 11, 12) mounted within the length of the drill string, said cleaning tool having a cleaning member (18) adapted to be moved from a close fitting stowed configuration within a recess (17) to a deployed configuration upon a body of the tool, wherein the cleaning member has magnets (19, 43) for use in positioning thereof, and compact tools for scraping, milling and brushing with improved resistance to ingress of detritus, debris and formation particulates are disclosed.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de forage et de nettoyage d'un puits de forage pendant la rotation du train de tiges jusquà profondeur complète du forage, sans retirer le train de tiges du puits pour installer un train de nettoyage. Linvention propose un train de tiges dont une extrémité est munie dun trépan et dau moins un outil de nettoyage (10, 11, 12) activable de façon sélective, situé à proximité du trépan et monté dans la longueur du train de tiges. Loutil de nettoyage est muni dun élément de nettoyage (18) apte à passer d'une configuration repliée à ajustement série dans une cavité (17) à une configuration déployée sur un corps de l'outil; daimants (19, 43) à utiliser pour son positionnement; et doutils compacts pour racler, broyer et brosser présentant une résistance améliorée à l'entrée de détritus, débris et particules de formation.
