An antiwave bulkhead (10) for use in swimming pools comprises a plurality of separate bulkhead units (11), each having a pair of buoyancy tanks (24, 25) secured therewithin and provided with air supply conduits (26, 27) enabling air to be independently supplied to or evacuated from each of the buoyancy tanks. The bulkhead units include an elongated slot (21) in their front walls at the pool water level to admit water into the bulkhead units caused by the bow wave of an approaching swimmer, and grating (34, 34a) at the lower ends of the bulkhead units to displace the excess admitted water.

L'invention concerne une cloison (10) antivagues pour piscines, qui comporte plusieurs unités (11) séparées de cloisons, chaque unité contenant deux flotteurs (24, 25) fixés à l'intérieur de celle-ci et étant équipée de conduits (26, 27) d'apport d'air permettant un apport ou une évacuation d'air indépendants vers/de chacun des flotteurs. Les unités de cloisons comportent une fente (21) allongée dans leur paroi antérieure au niveau de l'eau de la piscine, qui laisse entrer de l'eau dans les unités de cloison, celle-ci provenant de la vague de proue d'un nageur qui s'approche; et une grille (34, 34a) aux extrémités inférieures des unités de cloisons servant à déplacer l'excès d'eau admise.
