In a hierarchical network, an aggregation parameter is exchanged between a node and its neighbor to agree on a negotiated parameter. A set of physical links between them are aggregated into a logical link according to the negotiated parameter and resource data of the logical link is stored in a database of each node. The resource data is then exchanged between them and the contents of the database of each node are updated with resource data of its neighbor. To optimize the link aggregation, an operating performance of the logical link is evaluated by the node using traffic data from the network, and the negotiated parameter is updated according to the detected operating performance. The updated aggregation parameter of the node is exchanged with its neighbor to agree on a negotiated updated parameter which is used to aggregate the physical links into the logical link.
Dans un réseau hiérarchique, un paramètre de regroupement est échangé entre un noeud donné et son voisin en vue de négocier une entente en rapport avec ce paramètre. Des liaisons physiques entre ces noeuds sot regroupées sous la forme d'une liaison logique conforme au paramètre négocié et les données ressources de cette liaison logique sont stockées dans une base de données à chacun des noeuds. Les données ressources sont ensuite échangées entre eux et le contenu de la base de donnée de chaque noeud est mis à jour avec les données ressources de son voisin. Pour optimiser le regroupement de la liaison, la performance de fonctionnement de la liaison logique est évaluée par le noeud à l'aide des données de trafic fournies par le réseau et le paramètre négocié est mis à jour selon le résultat de cette évaluation de la performance de fonctionnement. Le paramètre de regroupement à jour du noeud est transmis à son voisin pour en venir à une entente sur un paramètre à jour qui sera utilisé pour regrouper les liaisons physiques en une liaison logique.
