A method for identifying traffic information is provided. The method includes receiving traffic data including a first identifier, information corresponding to a prediction of an amount of congestion for a particular link, and information corresponding to a location associated with the particular link. The first identifier enables a determination of a type of the information that is included within the received traffic data. The method also includes determining a type of information included within the received traffic data based on the first identifier and determining congestion amount prediction information based on the information included in the received traffic data only if the first identifier enables a determination that the received traffic data includes a prediction related to congestion amount. The method further includes determining location information based on the information that is included in the received traffic data corresponding to the location associated with the particular link identifying traffic information based on the determined congestion amount prediction information and the determined location information.
L'invention porte sur un procédé d'identification d'informations sur le trafic. Ce procédé consiste à recevoir des données relatives au trafic et comprenant un premier identificateur, des informations correspondant à une prédiction d'un taux de congestion d'une liaison particulière et des informations correspondant à un emplacement associé à la liaison particulière. Le premier identificateur permet de déterminer un type d'information qui est inclus dans les données reçues relatives au trafic. Le procédé consiste également à déterminer un type d'information inclus dans les données reçues relatives au trafic en fonction du premier identificateur et déterminer les informations de prédiction du taux de congestion sur la base des informations incluses dans les données reçues relatives au trafic, uniquement si le premier identificateur permet de déterminer que les données reçues relatives au trafic comprennent une prédiction liée au taux de congestion. Le procédé consiste également à déterminer des informations relatives à l'emplacement sur la base des informations qui sont incluses dans les données reçues relatives au trafic et correspondant à l'emplacement associé à la liaison particulière, identifier les informations relatives au trafic sur la base des informations de prédiction du taux de congestion déterminées et des informations sur l'emplacement déterminées.
