The invention relates to a hand-held device (1) for removing joint fillers, especially joint sealants, from joints. The inventive device comprises a handle area (2) for a user's hand and has a peeling element located at the front. The aim of the invention is to improve such a hand-held device so that it can be both pulled and pushed. To this end, the peeling element is constructed as a peeling beak (4) which runs to a point and which is open (5) in the rear while forming an additional beak area (4c).
