The invention relates to a heat- and light-stabilised polyamide composition including a stabilisation system that comprises copper oxide and KBr, and having an excellent conservation of the mechanical properties after exposure to heat or light. The invention also relates to a method for making these compositions, and more particularly to the use of said compositions for making articles for the automotive industry.
