The invention discloses a safety valve for a compressed gas container with an overflow duct (2) which is connected to the compressed gas container, with an outlet duct (3) and with a thermal release unit, said thermal release unit having a closure body (15; 20) which can be moved from a standby position, in which said closure body (15; 20) in interaction with a sealing element (9) keeps the overflow duct (2) sealingly closed off from the outlet duct, into an open position, in which the overflow duct (2) is connected to the outlet duct, and having a burst body (8) which is arranged between an abutment and the closing body (15; 20) in order to hold the latter in the standby position, the thermal release unit comprising a spring element (10; 11; 21) which exerts a spring force on the burst body (8) in the direction of the abutment, wherein the closure body (15; 20) is an element which is substantially wedge-shaped and rotationally symmetrical about a central axis in cross section and which, with its wedge-shaped sealing face (28), which at a widest diameter is wider than an inner diameter of an O-ring as a sealing element (9), engages in the inner diameter of said O-ring and presses the latter at least radially against a wall of the overflow duct (2).
L'invention concerne une soupape de sécurité conçue pour un contenant à gaz sous pression comprenant un canal de retour (2) qui est relié au contenant à gaz sous pression, ainsi qu'un canal d'évacuation (3), et une unité de déclenchement thermique qui comprend : un corps de fermeture (15 ; 20) pouvant être déplacé d'une position de disponibilité dans laquelle il maintient le canal de retour (2) fermé de manière étanche par rapport au canal d'évacuation, en association avec un élément d'étanchéité (9), vers une position de libération dans laquelle le canal de retour (2) est relié au canal d'évacuation, et ; un corps d'éclatement (8) qui est disposé entre une butée et le corps de fermeture (15 ; 20) pour maintenir celui-ci dans la position de disponibilité. Selon l'invention, l'unité de déclenchement thermique comprend un élément ressort (10 ; 11 ; 21) qui exerce une force élastique orientée vers la butée sur le corps d'éclatement (8). La présente invention est caractérisée en ce que le corps de fermeture (15 ;20) se présente sous la forme d'un élément qui est sensiblement cunéiforme en section transversale, et qui est symétrique en rotation autour d'un axe médian. La surface étanche (28) cunéiforme de cet élément, dont le diamètre le plus large est supérieur à un diamètre intérieur d'un joint torique d'étanchéité utilisé en tant qu'élément d'étanchéité (9) vient au contact du diamètre intérieur de ce joint torique d'étanchéité et le serre au moins radialement contre une paroi du canal de retour (2).
