The present invention relates to an injection head (1) for rubber mixtures that has two head parts (4, 5) that can pivot relative to each other about a joint (2, 3). In an operating position, the head parts (4, 5) lie along a sealing surface (6) and can be pivoted by two drive systems (7) into the rest position that is shown. The drive systems (7) are disposed on both sides of the head parts (4, 5) and are connected by two pull rods (8, 9) to the head parts (4, 5). Because of this, the closing and retaining force that is required to achieve sealing is transferred onto both head parts (4, 5 ) simultaneously by the drive system (7).
