A container (1) for hot-from-cooking poultry having a recessed base (2) with side-walls (3, 4, 5, 6), a domed lid (7), and a hinge (14) connecting the lid (7) to the base. The lid and the base are adapted for closure of the container around a joint surface (11). The hinge (14) is provided at the joint surface and at one side of the container (1) and extending along a straight hinge region spaced out from the intersection of one of the side-walls of the recess and the joint surface. The side-wall has a portion (17) angled at an acute angle with respect to the joint surface, and being generally coplanar with the hinge region. The container can be stood with the wall portion and the hinge on a support surface, with the intersection of the side-wall of which it is a portion and joint surface set up from the support surface.
L'invention porte sur une coque d'emballage (1) pour volaille chaude, cette coque étant constituée d'une base creuse (2) à parois latérales (3, 4, 5, 6), d'un couvercle en forme de dôme (7) et d'une charnière (14) raccordant le couvercle (7) à la base. Le couvercle et la base sont adaptés pour que la coque se ferme sur le pourtour d'une surface de joint (11). La charnière (14), formée au niveau de la surface de joint et au niveau d'un côté de la coque (1), s'étend le long d'une région rectiligne espacée de l'intersection d'une des parois latérales du creux et de la surface de joint. La paroi latérale possède une partie (17) formant un angle aigu par rapport à la surface de joint, et généralement coplanaire avec la région charnière. La coque peut être placée debout, celle-ci reposant sur une surface de support par la partie paroi et la charnière, l'auge ainsi constituée dans le fond permettant de recueillir le jus.
