Device with a laser (10, 20, 30) for image reproduction. The laser (10,20,30) emits a laser beam (12, 22, 32) with a defined coherence length L for a given wavelength .lambda.. The invention provides a first structure (44; 45; 52; 43; 67) which is placed in the path of the laser beam (12, 22, 32) enabling phase shifts to occur for the individual photons of the laser beam (12, 22, 32) according to a predetermined distribution. The average path resulting from the ratio between the average quadratic value of the phase shift caused by distribution and the sum of the wave vector k = 2 .pi./.lambda. of the laser (10, 20, 30) is greater than the coherence length L multiplied by a factor 1/(12)1/2.

L'invention concerne un dispositif comprenant un laser (10,20,30) pour la reproduction d'images. Le laser (10, 20, 30) émet un faisceau laser (12, 22, 32) d'une longueur de cohérence L déterminée pour une longueur d'onde .lambda. donnée.
