Water is kneaded into a predetermined dry composition to give an aqueous slurry which is then pumped through a pipe (12) to a nozzle (13) into which compressed air is injected in order to spray said aqueous slurry. The aqueous slurry is mechanically stirred to foam and/or swell the surfactant and the stirring power and/or speed and/or time is (are) adjusted in order to control the foaming and/or swelling rate of the surfactant and thus vary the porosity of the sprayed coating (3).
