It is intended to provide a nucleus pulposus filler or the like which is to be filled into an area in deformed intervertebral disc wherein normal nucleus should be located and can be stably held therein over a long time. More specifically speaking, a nucleus pulposus filler containing crosslinked chondroitin sulfate as the active ingredient. It is preferable that a photo crosslinked chondroitin sulfate is one obtained by freezing a photoreactive chondroitin sulfate-containing solution which contains photoreactive chondroitin sulfate having a photoreactive group attached thereto and an aqueous solvent in which the photoreactive chondroitin sulfate is soluble together with at least one substance selected from the group consisting of an alcohol miscible with the aqueous solvent, a surfactant and a chelating agent, then irradiating the frozen product with light and thus thawing the frozen product. This filler may be packed in a container from which it can be pushed out and provided in the form of a kit.
Il est prévu de fournir une matière de remplissage de nucleus pulposus ou similaire, devant être injectée dans une zone d'un disque intervertébral déformé, dans lequel doit être situé le nucleus normal et qui peut y être maintenu pendant une longue période. Plus précisément, on parle d'une matière de remplissage de nucleus pulposus contenant de la chondroïtine sulfate réticulée comme ingrédient actif. Il est préférable qu'une chondoïtine sulfate photo réticulée soit obtenue en gelant une solution contenant une chondroïtine sulfate photo-réactive qui contient de la chondroïtine sulfate photo-réactive ayant un groupe photo-réactif qui lui est attaché et un solvant aqueux dans lequel la chondroïtine sulfate photo-réactive est soluble avec au moins une substance choisie dans le groupe composé d'un alcool miscible avec le solvant aqueux, un surfactant et un chélateur, irradiant ensuite le produit gelé avec de la lumière, ce qui dégèle le produit gelé. La matière de remplissage peut être placée dans un conteneur à partir duquel elle puisse être extraite et fournie sous forme de kit.
