The invention relates to a method for the production of a peripherally closed hollow profile section (2) by means of a fluidic, inner high pressure. A hollow profile blank (7) is inserted into a cavity (10,12) of an inner, high pressure forming tool (5) and is then pressed mechanically into an intermediate form corresponding to the final form of the hollow profile (2). The intermediate form (11) of the blank (7) is expanded into the final form of the hollow profile section (2) by the inner, high pressure when the tool (5) is closed. In order to enable procedurally secure production of a pre- profilable hollow profile section (2) in a relatively simple manner, the blank (7) which is used is overdimensioned with regard to the peripheral length thereof in relation to the peripheral length of the cavity of the forming tool (10,12). The excess amount of blank material in comparison with the amount of blank material required for full placement of the hollow profile section blank (7) on the cavity (10,12) of the forming tool (5) is pressed inside the blank (17), at the earliest during the pressing process and an indentation is formed.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'obtention d'un profil creux fermé sur son pourtour (2), par haute pression interne exercée par un fluide, une ébauche à profil creux (7) étant mise en place dans une gravure (10, 12) d'un outil de façonnage sous haute pression interne (5), puis est compressée mécaniquement en une forme intermédiaire (11) se rapprochant de la forme finale du profil creux (2), après quoi, l'outil (5) étant fermé, la forme intermédiaire (2) de l'ébauche (7) est élargie, par la haute pression interne, jusqu'à prendre la forme finale du profil creux (2). L'invention a pour but de produire un profil creux (2) préprofilé suivant un processus relativement simple. A cet effet, l'invention est caractérisée en ce qu'on utilise une ébauche (7) possédant, quant à sa longueur périphérique, un excédent par rapport à la longueur périphérique de la gravure de l'outil de façonnage (10, 12), et en ce que le matériau d'ébauche, en excès par rapport au matériau de l'ébauche nécessaire pour l'agencement complet de l'ébauche du profil creux (7) sur la gravure (10, 12) de l'outil de façonnage (5) est compressé antérieurement, au cours du processus de pressage, dans l'espace intérieur (17) de l'ébauche, avec formation d'une boursouflure (18).
