An aspiration system for removing urine from the human body comprises a disposable body interface device having a liquid collection chamber. A detachable or permanently attached non-contact liquid sensor disposed outside the liquid collection chamber detects the presence of urine within the chamber. The non-contact sensor is selected from: a capacitance sensor; an ultrasonic sensor; a piezo-resonant sensor; and a temperature sensor.

La présente invention a pour objet un système d'aspiration permettant d'éliminer de l'urine provenant du corps humain, comprenant un dispositif jetable à interface avec le corps ayant une chambre de collecte de liquide. Un capteur de liquide sans contact démontable ou fixé de manière permanente disposé à l'extérieur de la chambre de collecte de liquide détecte la présence d'urine à l'intérieur de la chambre. Le capteur sans contact est choisi parmi : un capteur de capacité ; un capteur ultrasonore ; un capteur piézo-résonnant ; et un capteur de température.
