The invention relates to calpain protease 12 (Capn12), which is characterized in that it has an amino acid sequence comprising amino acids 1 - 342 of SEQ ID NO: 1 or an amino acid sequence selected amongst SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, SEQ ID NO: 3 or SEQ ID NO: 4. The invention also relates to the functional analogs of said calpain protease 12, to the nucleic acids coding therefor, to recombinant vectors containing said coding sequences and to microorganisms transfected therewith. The invention further relates to a method for recombinant production of Capn12 and to different applications of Capn12 and the nucleic acids coding therefor.
Calpaïne protéase 12 (Capn12) caractérisée en ce qu'elle présente une séquence d'acides aminés comprenant les acides aminés 1 - 342 de SEQ ID NO: 1 ou une séquence d'acides aminés choisie parmi SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, SEQ ID NO: 3 ou SEQ ID NO: 4. La présente invention concerne également les analogues fonctionnels de ladite calpaïne protéase 12, des acides nucléiques codant pour elle, des vecteurs de recombinaison qui contiennent ces séquences codantes, des micro-organismes transfectés avec lesdits vecteurs, des méthodes de recombinaison pour la production de Capn12 et différentes utilisations de Capn12 et les acides nucléiques codant pour elle.
