An improvement is described in microemulsion compositions which contain an anionic detergent, a nonionic surfactant, a grease release agent, a hydrocarbon ingredient, and water which comprises the use of a water-insoluble odoriferous perfume as the essential hydrocarbon ingredient in a proportion sufficient to form either a dilute o/w microemulsion composition containing, by weight, 1 % to 20 % of an anionic detergent, 6 to 50 % of a cosurfactant, 0.1 % to 10 % of a grease release agent, 0.4 % to 10 % of perfume and the balance being water as well as all purpose hard surface cleaning composition or light duty liquid detergent compositions which contain a grease release agent.

L'invention se rapporte à l'amélioration de compositions se présentant sous forme de microémulsions, contenant un détergent anionique, un tensioactif non ionique, un agent de dégraissage, un ingrédient hydrocarbure, et de l'eau ainsi qu'un parfum insoluble dans l'eau en tant qu'ingrédient hydrocarbure essentiel, dans une proportion suffisante pour former une composition diluée se présentant sous forme d'une microémulsion huile dans eau contenant de 1 % à 20 % en poids d'un détergent anionique, de 6 à 50 % en poids d'un cotensioactif, de 0,1 à 10 % en poids d'un agent de dégraissage, de 0,4 % à 10 % en poids de parfum, le solde étant de l'eau, cette microémulsion étant en même temps une composition de nettoyage polyvalente pour surfaces dures, soit des compositions détergentes liquides pour petits travaux qui contiennent un agent de dégraissage.
