A valve construction comprising a molded body (1) including a plurality of body sections (2a, 2b) each having a generally flat inner surface (3). The flat surfaces of the body sections are disposed in contiguous relation along an interface. Each surface has a plurality of recesses (5, 9, 16) that mate with complementary recesses in the surface of the other body section to form compartments in the assembled body, and operating components, such as valves (42, 56), are located in the compartments. The movable elements of the operating components, move in a direction parallel to the plane of the interface. Each surface also has a plurality of channel portions (6, 8) mating with complementary channel portions in the other surface to form channels that interconnect the compartments. Each surface also includes a plurality of port sections (4, 7) which mate with port sections in the other surface to form ports which establish communication between the channels and the exterior of the body.
La présente invention a pour objet un ensemble de soupape comportant un corps moulé (1) constitué d'une pluralité de pièces (2a et 2 b) présentant une surface intérieure (3) essentiellement plate. Les surfaces intérieures des pièces en question sont disposées en contiguïté le long d'une interface. Chacune des surfaces en question comporte une pluralité de gorges (5, 9 et 16)qui correspondent à des gorges complémentaires pratiquées dans la surface de la partie opposée, formant ainsi, après assemblage, des compartiments à l'intérieur du corps; des organes mécaniques, tels des soupapes, occupent les compartiments résultant de l'assemblage des pièces. Les parties mobiles des organes mécaniques en question se déplacent dans une direction qui est parallèle au plan de l'interface. Chaque surface comporte également une pluralité de dépressions (6 et 8) dont la correspondance avec des dépressions pratiquées dans la surface opposée forme des canalisations qui établissent la communication entre les compartiments. Chaque surface comporte en outre une pluralité de configurations d'orifices (4 et 7) correspondant à une pluralité de configurations d'orifices pratiqués dans la surface opposée, ceux-ci devant servir à établir la communication entre les canalisations et l'extérieur du corps.
