The invention relates to a polyolefinic rubber which is a copolymer ethylen/propylen and/or buten-1, having a fluidity index from 0.3 to 15dg/min and a density from 0.860 to 0.885, comprising 74- 91 % mol of patterns derived from ethylen and 9-26 % mol of patterns derived from propylen and/or buten-1, characterized by a crystalline fusion temperature J, from 100 C to 125 C. The method for obtaining such rubber comprises the copolymerisation at a temperature of 150 C-300 C and a pressure of 400-200 bars, a gas flow containing 15-42 % by volume of ethylen and 58-85 % by volume of propylen and/or buten-1 in the presence of a catalytic Ziegler type system comprising at least one transition metal compound of the groups IVB, VB, VIB and VIII of the Periodic Classification, and at least one organo-aluminic compound, an optionally, in the presence of at least one chain transfer agent. Fabrication of articles such as sealing gaskets, shoe elements, flexible hoses, dampening elements, profiled elements for the building and car industries, etc.

Caoutchouc polyoléfinique qui est un copolymère éthylène/ propylène et/ou butène-1, ayant un indice de fluidité de 0,3 à 15 dg/min. et une densité de 0,860 à 0,885, comprenant 74-91% en mol. de motifs dérivés de l'éthylène et 9-26% en mol. de motifs dérivés du propylène et/ou du butène-1, caractérisé par une température de fusion cristalline J, de 100° à 125°C. Le procédé d'obtention de ce caoutchouc consiste à copolymériser, à une température de 150°-300°C et sous une pression de 400-2000 bars, un flux gazeux contenant 15-42% en vol. d'éthylène et 58-85% en vol. de propylène et/ou de butène-1, en présence d'un système catalytique type Ziegler comprenant au moins un composé de métal de transition des groupes IVB, VB, VIB et VIII de la Classification Périodique, et au moins un composé organo-aluminique, et le cas échéant, en présence d'au moins un agent de transfert de chaîne. Fabrication d'articles tels que joints d'étanchéité, éléments de chaussures, tuyaux souples, éléments amortissants, profils pour le bâtiment et l'automobile, etc.
