This invention relates to a golf club shaft and more particularly to a golf club shaft that is non-circular comprising of at least one flat surface orientated on the shaft. Currently all golf club shafts are round in shape and tapered from the large butt grip end to the smaller hosel club head end. A problem arises when one has to exactly line up the head and the grip so that they are exactly perpendicular to each other. With a round shaft this is both time consuming and almost impossible to achieve and/or maintain.
