In an apparatus for the production of a non-woven web, structure, or article using a spun-bonding process in combination with a forming fabric which is woven having flat CMD yarns, flat MD yarns or both, so as to reduce a volume of air in the forming fabric and improve surface roughness of the forming fabric in comparison to that of a similarly woven forming fabric woven from only round cross-sectional shaped yarns, thereby reducing air disturbance during the spun-bonding or melt-blowing process whilst providing a desired permeability with some or all of such yarns being conductive so as to dissipate static electricity.

La présente invention concerne un appareil destiné à la production d'un voile, d'une structure ou d'un article non tissé selon un procédé de filage direct, combiné à un tissu en cours de formation qui est tissé de façon qu'il possède des fils plats en sens travers et/ou des fils plats en sens machine, une partie ou la totalité des fils précités étant conducteurs de façon qu'ils dissipent l'électricité statique.
