CARBURETOR ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A carburetor of the slide and pin type having a throat with a belled entrance, a slight inward taper toward the slide, and a slight outward taper past the slide. The only irregularities in the throat are the throttle slideway, which is extremely thin, and the opening into which the fuel nozzle pin extends. The smooth unob- structed throat induces a maximum volume of air to flow at high velocity with a minimum of turbulence so that the greatest possible amount of air is delivered to the cylinders with a proper amount of fuel. A novel pin and slide is also disclosed.
