The present invention concerns a gauze implant (7) for treating cuff injuries. The said implant is composed of several, preferably eight, overlapping layers of gauze. The use of an implant composed of several layers, allows better stress distribution and ingrowth of tissue between the different layers.

L'invention concerne un implant de gaze pour traiter des lésions de la coiffe des rotateurs. L'implant se compose de plusieurs, de préférence huit couches de gaze chevauchantes. L'utilisation d'un implant comportant plusieurs couches permet d'assurer une meilleure répartition des contraintes ainsi que la croissance du tissu entre les différentes couches.
