Disclosed is a storage or conveying system comprising an electromagnetic planar motor which moves one or more conveying devices, especially movable pallets, cars, or containers mounted on wheels or rolls. The planar motor is equipped with a plurality of electromagnets which can generate suitable magnetic fields for moving the conveying device. The conveying device is designed in a passive manner with respect to the driving action of the planar motor. The transformers can be separated from one another and can be arranged to form desired geometries of the planar motor. At least one metal detecting apparatus is integrated into the planar motor. The invention allows for an extremely flexible storage system.

L'invention concerne un système de stockage ou de transport comportant un moteur plat électromagnétique déplaçant un ou plusieurs dispositifs de transport. Les dispositifs de transport sont notamment des palettes roulantes, des chariots ou des conteneurs logés sur des roues ou des galets. Le moteur plat comporte une pluralité d'électroaimants pouvant produire des champs magnétiques adaptés pour le déplacement du dispositif de transport. Le dispositif de transport est conçu de façon passive en ce qui concerne l'entraînement par le moteur plat. Les convertisseurs peuvent être individualisés et disposés dans des géométries souhaitées du moteur plat. Au moins un dispositif de détection de métal est intégré dans le moteur plat. L'invention permet de créer un système de stockage particulièrement flexible.
