Process in which an inert gas and oil are injected during the flow of molten metal in the pipe at the joint between the two refractory pieces in order to prevent atmospheric gases from entering the pipe at the joint. The process has the advantage of sealing leaks at the joint, reducing inert gas consumption, and ensuring the quality of the molten metal, since there is no deterioration produced by the inert gas.
