Methods, apparatus and systems are presented for au-tomatically providing network operators with identification of open market wireless devices that are used in the operator s respective net-work. Present aspects accomplish such by retrieving device profile in-formation in response to the network operator s removable module be-ing associated with (i.e., inserted into) a wireless device and commu-nicating the device profile information to the network operator or the like. This allows for the network operator or third party entity to track and/or monitor the type of wireless devices existing in their respective wireless network. In addition, the automated nature of the tracking ob-viates the need for the subscribers/users of the removable modules to manually or otherwise provide the device identification to the network operators.
L'invention concerne des procédés, un appareil et des systèmes permettant de pourvoir automatiquement des opérateurs de réseaux ayant une identification de dispositif sans fil du marché libre qui sont utilisés dans le réseau respectif de l'opérateur. Ce procédé consiste à extraire des informations de profil de dispositif en réponse au module amovible de l'opérateur réseau en association avec (c'est-à-dire inséré dans) un dispositif sans fil et communiquer à l'opérateur réseau ou analogue des informations de profil du dispositif. Ceci permet à l'opérateur réseau ou à une entité de troisième partie de suivre et/ou de surveiller le type de dispositif sans fil existant dans leur réseau sans fil respectif. De plus, la nature automatisée du suivi évite aux abonnés/utilisateurs des modules amovibles de fournir manuellement ou autrement l'identification du dispositif aux opérateurs de réseau.
