SEAMING EQUIPMENT for SECURING the ENDS of TINS, CANS and SIMILAR METAL CONTAINERS, in PARTICULAR CANS for FOODSTUFFS ABSTRACT of the DISCLOSURE Seaming equipment generally comprises at least one vertically disposed column rotatable about its own axis and carrying a number of vertical spindles each supporting the cylindrical body and base of one can, and a succession of work stations by which the matching edges of these two components are interlocked and pressed together; in this instance, the spindles are taken by the column through a first two successive stations consisting in dies, and a third station equipped with a seam roller, all of which are arranged around the one column.
