The invention relates to a coated component, in particular a coated tool for machining, having a substrate and a first carbon layer, which is applied to the substrate and has a trained fraction of carbon with a diamond crystal structure. There is the problem with such a component that the adhesive strength of the first carbon layer on the substrate is unsatisfactory in many instances. This problem is solved by virtue of the fact that provision is made of a second carbon layer, which is arranged further outside with reference to the substrate than the first carbon layer, and in the case of which the fraction of carbon with a diamond crystal structure is lower than the predetermined fraction of carbon with a crystal diamond structure in the first carbon layer. The invention also relates to a process for producing such a coated component.
L'invention concerne un composant diamanté, notamment un outil diamanté d'usinage, constitué d'un substrat et d'une première couche de carbone, qui est appliquée sur le substrat et qui comporte une fraction prédéfinie de carbone ayant la structure des cristaux de diamant. Le problème qui se pose avec un composant de ce type, c'est que la force d'adhésion de la première couche de carbone sur le substrat est souvent insuffisante. L'invention permet de résoudre ce problème grâce à une seconde couche de carbone, qui est disposée davantage vers l'extérieur du substrat que la première couche de carbone, et dans laquelle la fraction de carbone ayant la structure des cristaux de diamant est inférieure à la fraction prédéfinie de carbone ayant la structure des cristaux de diamant de la première couche de carbone. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de produire ledit composant diamanté.
