ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for mixing liquid and coagulant comprising: a body having an internal space of circular section. the internal space extending in the direction which intersects a horizontal line; first introducing means for introducing the liquid into the body; second introducing means for introducing the coagulant into the body; receiving means disposed inside the body so as to receive the liquid and the coagulant from the first and second introducing means; and drive means for rotating the receiving means about the axis of the body. The receiving means is provided with a disk disposed to intersect the axis of the body and rotated about the axis of the body by the drive means.
