The invention concerns the use, for implanting or inserting a solid (1, 9) or semisolid (18) formulation, for being set in a precise receptor site (T) of the system, containing at least one active principle, said formulation being of a solid or semisolid consistency such that it can remain for some time in the site, and containing a limited dose of active principle for treatment in a targeted zone of the body, a device comprising one part set inside the body of the patient with means for conditioning the solid or semisolid form, positioning means for bringing these conditioning means to the deposit site, means for injecting or inserting in this deposit site, means for removal after injection or insertion, and one part remaining outside with means for activating the functions of the device. The invention also concerns a sustained-release solid formulation for parenteral administration containing a homogeneous mixture of an active principle in non-dispersed state and of a biologically compatible and biodegradable excipient, in which the amount of active principle is at least 50 % by weight.
L'invention a pour objet l'utilisation, pour l'implantation ou l'insertion d'une formulation solide (1, 9) ou semi-solide (18), destinée à être mise en place en un site de dépôt précis (T) d'un organisme, contenant au moins un principe actif, ladite formulation étant de consistance solide ou semi-solide telle qu'elle puisse persister pendant une certaine durée dans le site, et contenant une dose de principe actif limitée pour un traitement dans une zone ciblée de l'organisme, d'un dispositif comprenant une partie placée à l'intérieur du corps du patient avec des moyens de conditionnement de la forme solide ou semi-solide, des moyens de positionnement permettant d'amener ces moyens de conditionnement jusqu'au site de dépôt, des moyens d'injection ou d'insertion à ce site de dépôt, et des moyens de retrait après injection ou insertion, et une partie laissée à l'extérieur avec des moyens d'activation des fonctions du dispositif. L'invention a également pour objet une formulation retard solide pour administration parentérale comprenant un mélange homogène d'un principe actif à l'état non dispersé et d'un excipient biocompatible biodégradable, dans laquelle la quantité de principe actif est d'au moins 50 % en poids.
