The invention concerns a method and device for fixing the human head during neurosurgery and the like, which are of simple design and simplified application, respectively. The device comprises: a base plate (1); at least one support element (4) which can be detachably mounted on the base plate (1) and has base holders (5, 15) which can each be positioned freely on the base plate (1); a base rod (7, 17) secured on the base holder (5, 15) with at least one hinge joint (9, 19); a projecting holder rod (8, 18) secured to the hinge joint (9, 19), a detachably mounted upper jaw cross-plate (27) being provided at the end of the holder rod (8, 18); and an upper jaw impression tray (30) which can be mounted on the upper jaw cross-plate (27) and can be fixed on the upper jaw by a vacuum.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour fixer la tête humaine lors d'une intervention neurochirurgicale et similaire, qui sont respectivement d'une conception simple et d'une mise en oeuvre simplifiée. Ce dispositif comporte une plaque de base (1); au moins un élément de support (4) qui peut être monté amovible sur la plaque de base (1) et possède des appuis de base (5, 15) pouvant être chacun positionnés librement sur la plaque de base (1); une tige de base (7, 17) fixée sur l'appui de base (5, 15) et présentant au moins une articulation (9, 19); une tige d'appui (8, 18) saillante fixée à l'articulation (9, 19), une plaque transversale de maxillaire supérieur (27) montée amovible étant disposée à l'extrémité de la tige d'appui (8, 18); et un porte-empreinte de maxillaire supérieur (30) qui se monte sur la plaque transversale de maxillaire supérieur (27) et se fixe sur le maxillaire supérieur par le vide.
