A method for testing dies using a machine grooved storage tray with vacuum channels. The method involves drawing a vacuum upon the dies while held in the storage tray and using an automated vision system to map the location of dies in the pockets of the storage tray. Using the map, the storage tray is maneuvered for 5 each individual die in relation to a test probe in order that contact and testing may be made between the discrete die and the test probe.

Méthode d'essai de matrice au moyen d'un plateau de rangement creusé à la machine et doté de buses d'aspiration. La méthode consiste à créer un vide autour des matrices placées dans le plateau de rangement pour ensuite utiliser un système de vision automatisé pour dresser une carte de l'emplacement des matrices dans les pochoirs des plateaux de rangement. Au moyen de la carte, le plateau de rangement est déplacé pour chacune des 5 matrices par rapport à une sonde test afin qu'il soit possible d'établir des contacts et de procéder à des essais entre chaque matrice et la sonde de test.
