A tension indicator comprises a housing (1) mountable on a strap S which passes through mouths (5) and (6) of the housing. Within the housing, a barrel (11) is rotatably mounted upon a transverse axis (A). The barrel has a cross- passage (12) for strap (S). Towards its ends barrel (11) has discs (14), carrying slot (15) defining formations (16). The slots engage springs (21). The arrangement is such that in the relaxed state of the springs, barrel passage (12) is out of alignment with mouths (5) and (6), so that a strap (S) passing through the tension indictor is deflected to a lazy Z path . The housing has a window (23), through which barrel (11) can be seen. When springs (21) are relaxed, a ~SLACK~ portion (24) of barrel (11) can be seen through window (23). When strap (S) is tensioned it is straightened by abutting on ends (25) of passage (12). A different ~TENSIONED~ portion (26) of barrel (11) now becomes visible in window (23). Thus the tension is strap (S) can be assessed according to which of the portions (24) and (26) is visible in window (23).
L'invention concerne un indicateur de tension qui comprend un corps (1) pouvant être monté sur une lanière S traversant des ouvertures (5 et 6) du corps. A l'intérieur du corps, un cylindre (11) est monté rotatif sur un axe transversal (A). Le cylindre comporte un passage (12) destiné à la lanière (S). En direction de ses extrémités, le cylindre (11) comporte des disques (14), une fente (15) support définissant des structures (16). Les fentes entrent en contact avec des ressorts (21). Le dispositif est tel que lorsque les ressorts sont à l'état relâché, le passage (12) du cylindre n'est pas aligné avec les ouvertures (5 et 6), de sorte que la lanière (S) traversant l'indicateur de tension indicateur est déviée vers un chemin lâche Z. Le corps comporte une fenêtre (23) dans laquelle on peut voir le cylindre (11). Lorsque les ressorts (21) sont à l'état relâché, on peut voir une partie (24) DETENDUE du cylindre (11) dans la fenêtre (23). Lorsqu'on met la lanière (S) en tension, celle-ci se tend par contact avec les extrémités (25) du passage (12). Une autre partie (26) TENDUE du cylindre (11) apparaît alors dans la fenêtre (23). La tension de la lanière (S) peut ainsi être évaluée en fonction de la partie (24 ou 26) visible dans la fenêtre (23).
