A process for preparing a dried malted beverage product. The process comprises: a) mixing together solid and liquid constituents of the beverage product in a single vessel so as to form a mixture; b) subjecting the mixture in the vessel to heat at a lowered pressure so as to effect drying and granulation of the mixture and form the dried malted beverage product; and c) discharging the dried malted beverage product from the vessel. The process is carried out in a single vessel for mixing, drying and granulation. Suitable solid constituents include one or more selected from malt extract powder, maltodextrin, cocoa powder, milk powder /dairy creams, whey powder, salt, flavours, natural colours and mixtures thereof. Suitable liquid constituents include one or more selected from water, malt extract, caramelised sugar syrup, natural colours, flavours, soya lecithin, maltodextrin, and mixtures thereof.

L'invention porte sur un procédé pour préparer un produit de boisson malté séché. Le procédé comprend les opérations consistant à : a) mélanger ensemble des constituants solides et liquides du produit de boisson dans un récipient unique de façon à former un mélange ; b) soumettre le mélange dans le récipient à une chaleur sous une pression diminuée de façon à effectuer un séchage et une granulation du mélange et à former le produit de boisson malté séché ; et c) décharger le produit de boisson malté séché du récipient. Le procédé est réalisé dans un récipient unique pour le mélange, le séchage et la granulation. Les constituants solides appropriés comprennent un ou plusieurs éléments choisis parmi la poudre d'extrait de malt, la maltodextrine, la poudre de cacao, la poudre de lait/les crèmes laitières, la poudre de lactosérum, du sel, les aromes, les couleurs naturelles et leurs mélanges. Les constituants liquides appropriés comprennent un ou plusieurs éléments choisis parmi l'eau, l'extrait de malt, le sirop de sucre caramélisé, les couleurs naturelles, les aromes, la lécithine de soja, la maltodextrine et leurs mélanges.
