74697-2 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present device discloses a grasping forceps with side channel. A grasping forceps channel connects a clamp to a handle. The clamp is shut to close off the gall bladder to prevent gall stones from travelling from the gall bladder into the cystic duct and into the bile duct. The side channel is provided that is substantially parallel to the grasping forceps channel. The side channel directs a catheter into the infundibulum on the side of the clamp away from the bile duct. This catheter has a needle for application of a dye to the infundibulum.
