23 The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a dentifrice composition comprising the steps of preparing a mixture of a flavor system, one or more humectants, and one or more aqueous carriers; heating the mixture to a temperature range of from about 38° C to about 71° C; and homogenizing the mixture in the temperature range for about 15 minutes to about 60 minutes; wherein the dentifrice composition has a total water content of from about 5% toabout 20%.
