The invention relates to a screw cap (31) for a container. The inventive cap consists of a holding flap (33) and a locking device comprising a first flange and a second flange (16). According to the invention, the holding flap (33) is turned in the first screw thread of the screw cap (31) such that it can pass between the first flange and the second flange (16) and, when in the final position thereof, the holding flap (33) butts safely and securely against a contact surface of the second flange (16).
