A sandwich board is made of injection moulded polyvinyl chloride panels. The panels are inhibited from warping by inturned moulded permanent flanges along the edges. The side flanges overlap in closed position of the sandwich board to form a closed box and are restrained from opening too far by straps extending between lower portions. The straps are hinged to fold within the box formed by the closed sandwich board. One of the panels may be very narrow to form a support prop for it. Weight carrying pockets are provided by injection moulding in lower regions of the panels. For example, the pockets are provided at the lower corners where top and bottom flanges of the panels double as two pocket walls.
