A method for operating a flow meter is provided. The flow meter includes a driver and pickoff sensors coupled to a flow tube. The driver is adapted to vibrate the flow tube in response to a drive signal. The method comprises setting a target pickoff voltage and measuring a flow meter temperature. The method further comprises generating a temperature compensated target pickoff voltage and controlling the drive signal to maintain a temperature compensated flow tube amplitude.

L'invention porte sur un procédé pour actionner un débitmètre. Le débitmètre comprend un pilote et des détecteurs d'écart couplés à un tube d'écoulement. Le pilote est apte à faire vibrer le tube d'écoulement en réponse à un signal de commande. Le procédé comprend le réglage d'une tension d'écart cible et la mesure d'une température de débitmètre. Le procédé comprend en outre la génération d'une tension d'écart cible compensée en température et la commande du signal de commande pour maintenir une amplitude de tube d'écoulement compensée en température.
