The invention concerns a heavy vehicle (1), such as a transport vehicle or a civil engineering machine, weighing more than 500 tons, equipped with radially structured tyres (2, 3, 4, 5) of diameter greater than three and a half meters having an axial width more than 37 inches, comprising a front end assembly (8) provided with at least two tyres (5) and a rear end assembly (7) through which is transmitted at least part of the tractive force. The invention is characterized in that the vehicle rear end assembly comprises at least five tyres.

L'invention concerne un véhicule lourd (1), tel qu'un véhicule de transport ou un engin de « Génie Civil », d'une masse supérieure à 500 tonnes, équipé de pneumatiques (2,3,4,5) de structure radiale de diamètre supérieur à trois mètres cinquante présentant une largeur axiale supérieure à 37 pouces, comportant un train avant (8) muni d'au moins deux pneumatiques (5) et d'un train arrière (7) par lequel est transmise au moins une partie de la motricité. Selon l'invention, le train arrière du véhicule comporte au moins cinq pneumatiques.
