The invention relates to a process for dyeing wool-containing fibre material with anionic dyes, which comprises dyeing said material in the presence of a wool protective agent containing at least one compound of formula Image (1) or Image (1'), wherein the variables are as claimed in the claims. Rubfast level dyeings with no impairment of wool quality are obtainable by said process.
