Method for the bleaching of a chemical pulp without preliminary stage of delignification by chlorine in acid medium or by association of chlorine and chlorine dioxide in acid medium, wherein the pulp is subjected to a treatment in two successive stages comprising first the treatment by peroxymonosulphuric acid and the treatment by alkaline hydrogen peroxide.
