DENTAL, TOOL REAMER CAPABLE OF FOLLOWING NATURAL CORVATURE OF TOOTH CANAL ABSTRACT This invention provides a dental reamer tool designed for use with a conventional dental drill headpiece. The tool is capable of swiveling so that it follows the natural direction of a tooth canal because the reaming or cutting end 127 of the tool is formed so as to have cutting edges 124 tapering longitudinally endwardly to a minimum effective cutting diameter tip end 128 from a plane of maximum effective cutting diameter 129. The tip also has reverse cutting surfaces 126 tapering longitudinally in the opposite direction to the beginning of the shank portion 130, having a reduced diameter. The plurality of reamer cutting edges 124, 126, extend axially for reaming out a bore into a tooth canal of a patient upon rotation of the tool.
