ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method for the manufacture of a continuous envelope where the primary purpose of that envelope is the continuous imprinting of envelopes of various sizes on a printing device, principally an office printer connected to a computer or workstation terminal for addressing or for other marking, but not restricted to any printing or marking device; and having a disposable carrier that provides a temporary transport structure for the packet while it is being carried through the printing device previously named or through an inserting device or some other device or apparatus. The method of manufacture of the continuous envelope is this: a roll of paper or other material is diecut with both the shape of an envelope and the shape of the carrier structure, the lip is glued with remoistenable glue, the side seams are raised, folded over and glued, the back is folded over the glued side seams, and folded back again to form a temporary backing sheet and housing for the said continuous envelope. The invention is also for the device to manufacture the said continuous envelope, and for that continuous envelope so produced.
