The present invention is directed to a composition and a method for treatment of ocular hypertension. The method comprises ocularly administering, to a subject in need of such treatment, an oculo-hypotensively synergistic combination of (a) a 15-ketoprostaglandin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable ester thereof, and (b) a carbonate dehydratase inhibitor in an amount effective for treatment of ocular hypertension.
